The Lubbock City Council recognized the 24th of October as World Polio Day. The proclamation was read by City Councilwoman Latrelle Joy, a member of Lubbock Rotary Club. On hand for the recognition were President Ben Locke, Jerry Bell and Sid Chance of Lubbock Rotary and President SarahLee Morris, William Morris and Amber McCloud, Metro Lubbock Rotary.
